One thing you must take into consideration, is safety.<br /><br />Any device used by the manufacturer regarding air/fuel/ignition/electrics is specifically for marine use. Your engine is sitting in a closed compartment so all must be designed for this ie. have the needed insulation, be free from sparks (alternator) etc.<br /><br />One good way to help your engine perform, is to make a hose, connecting the intake to a source of fresh (cold) outside air. The engine compartment gets fairly hot and cold intake simply helps the thing work by ensuring better airflow and fuel efficiency.<br /><br />Do not, though, expect huge gains. Neither from this nor from K&N.
