Another great weekend at the lake.

We watched an older couple being launched while each sat on a jet ski. We do have such rental companies around us.

Both were doing okay, puttering around getting the fell of the things. The mama feel off hers. She was having some issues getting back on as it kept flipping to one side or the other. The Bosslady and I were discussing that that this could get ugly if this occurred in the main channel as she would half about a half-mile swim to either bank.

Daddy wasn't much help as he was calling her all kinds of names when she couldn't back on. She finally pulled the jet ski back to the ramp and get back on. He called her a bunch of more names and then took off like a shot. Not good as it is a no-wake cove. We were discussing that the jerk was going to get past the buoys as the chances of a water patrolman going was slim to none.

Meanwhile mama had gotten back on and was leaving at the proper speed. Daddy had just about reached the buoys, when BAM! Water patrol came into sight and pulled his butt over. :D Out come the bumpers and Daddy is tied alongside, digging for rental papers, etc. While he being berated by the WP for exceeding the no wake speed, mama just tools on by, never looking in his direction, and heads out for a fun time. WP had him there for a good 15 to 20 minutes, all the time the rental clock is ticking by.

Karma can be such a biotch.

LOL. What is your definition of an "older couple" I'm 59 and you wouldn't catch me dead on a water flea. LOL. No balance and I much prefer a boat.
The beard in my avatar has been shaven, but on Aug 29th I'm starting it back.
