My 93 ss750 is cavitating when I accelerate quickly. no visible damage to impeller, I was going to go in and check clearances. looking to find out if there is anything else I should check? Is there a wear ring set up similar to my old seadoo sp?

If you dont see any damage to your impeller or venturi, you might want to check the wear ring..Im not sure how the 750 compairs to the SP though. Another idea is changing the intake grate. Check out Worx, Solas, R&D and Riva. All are really good.

Re: kawasaki cavitation

So if the impellor looks ok then it probably is ok? I was thinking after 10 or 11 years the outter edges might be wearing down.

Re: kawasaki cavitation

those pump liners are notorious for bulging from corrosion behind the liner and wearing down the impeller edges, that is most likely the cause. Unfortunately the liner is not replaceable and it is expensive to get a new pump and impeller,
