KC area lakes

With the recent storms, has anyone been out to any KX area lakes? I livb near lake perry, but figured it would be a muddy mess with lots of trees floating around in it. I wad considering going to Clinton this weekend. The water temperature is 75 degrees, so it's not too cold. Has anyone been to any lakes in my area? I wouldn't mind driving a ways to get the boat out this year, but don't want to waste my time.

Any ideas?

Check out some of the county lakes. Douglas county, Leavenworth, ect. Eastern Kansas reservoirs are notorious when the water is high or when the wind is blowing. good luck.

I wasn't looking to go fishing. I just wanted to get the boat out. The county lakes are too small and are fishing lakes with a HP limit.
