keel stinger?

how far forward does a keel stinger go in a 16' tri hull? does it go past the bow bucket as i got a trihull bowrider? what do ya think. i think my think my keel stringer is spent and am wonderin if will have to take the top off?

if it goes under the bow bucket. can i cut the bow bucket out and reglass it back in satisfactoraly? just some pre thoughts before the saw.....

Yes I imagine it goes full length or partly up the rise on the keel.
