Keep getting logged out during session

This morning I've repeatedly had to log in; at times, I've been asked to log in even though I can see my username in the upper right hand corner of the screen. It's happened quite a few times. Each time, I'm allowed back in, only to have to log in again, sometimes when I change a page, sometimes if I try to reply to a post on the page I've been reading. Very weird.

Win10 computer running the latest version of Firefox.

Interesting ... we have a mod who is experiencing the same issue, but the rest of us are not ... so any information you can give that might give clues to why would be appreciated ...

I'm on the same computer today, and it has not logged me out once.

Browser is Firefox 88.0.1 (64 bit) running on Windows 10 Pro 64 bit with most recent updates.

Computer is an oldish homemade system with an Intel i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30 GHz, with 16 GB of RAM and 500 GB SSD drive.

Are you logging on to the forum with two different computers?

I do, sometimes with up to three or four different computers/devices. But the computer above is the only one that has experienced the logging out issue.

Been experiencing same on my side for a quite some time, to reply to this post had to log again for a second time...
