Hey guys I just got a new (to me) Bass Tracker PT175. My long time friend, a 14' Bluestar never got fussed over. I used it for mountain camping and hauling firewood etc. so looks were secondary. This new one however is a nice, clean fishin' boat and I'd like to keep her that way. So what products are good for getting it nice and also help to preserve the looks?

For the hull Shark Hyde is it, it is a clear coat that you wipe on and it last for years, a little pricey but it does work very well.

For the inside just normal cleaning stuff you would use on your car.

If the hull is a little oxidized you can take a super fine Scotch Brite pad and regrain the aluminum then Shark Hyde it.

If you look at the metal it has a grain just like wood, run the pad in the same direction as the grain of the aluminum and it will get it looking new again.
