What is the best way to keep a canvas mooring cover and bimini top from needing to be replaced? It doesn't look too bad but is 6 years old and I want to keep it looking fresh.

Is there a miracle product or something to do?

I kept mine clean, dried after a rain storm and when I saw that they were no longer shedding water I treated them with waterproofing spray. 12 years and original covers with no sign of issues.

**I didn't trailer with these on, they were stored inside the boat and I had a dedicated trailering cover that I used during transport.

The key is keeping it clean, so that the waterproofing works. Mine has a lot of pollen and mildew stains. I plan to clean it in an industrial front load washer at a local laundry mat. Holds eight regular loads worth. Will run with mild soap, then again with mild bleach. You can also scrub it on the ground, provided you manage the soap/bleach runoff. Then I'll re-apply waterproofing.

Here are the Sunbrella instructions.
