Hello:
Just wondered if your engine smoothness problem went away with the change back to your original brand of oil?
If you posted that info, I missed it.

Hopefully this post will be vague enough to not start this discussion all over. :D

Charles

Hello again:
I thought I would bump this once to see if it was missed or ignored.
If it stays dormant for another week, I'll delete it.

Thanks,
Charles

obviously i'm not kenny, but i do know that his idle did smooth out after switching from supertech back to J&E oil. i think he was going to try another oil, amsoil or something like that i think.

Catfish is right.....Engine Idle returned to the original, nice, smooth idle I started with, but it took about 18-20 gallons of gas, with most at WOT. I went back to J/E XD-25.
I'm now trying Ficht Ram at 50:1, but I've only got about 14hrs since the change-over. As of yet, I can't say I notice any difference in it, so far. The XD-25 is a very Clean oil as far as having no residual running out of exhaust areas, and the Ficht Ram should show the same properties....We'll see. :)
