I'm rebuilding a early 50's KG-7 (Wizard WG-7) and the service manual does not say where to place the gaps in the piston rings. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Dean

Re: KG-7 piston ring gap placement

Hi,

The pistons have locating pins in them. The rings only go
on in one place. They are on the up side and down side of the piston to keep the ends of the rings away from and out of your ports so they do not catch a port and trash your engine.
