kicker bracket small area transom

I'm converting a Sylvan Offshore 22ft to a big open fishing boat. I Want to add a 10hp kicker for trolling but the transom looks to small to mount the bracket. I haven't actually bought the bracket yet as I'd like to see what others have done who have similar transom designs and added a kicker. Here are a few pic's of what I'm dealing with. Hoping someone out there can post a pic or 2 of what they did in this situation.

You won't need 10hp. 5hp will troll that hull just fine. I would put 5hp on a bracket, so that the powerheads don't clutter up the transom so much.

You could clamp a 5hp to the transom most likely. Looks like there is enough room
