The boat:1967 Starcraft Starchief
The main engine: 1963 Evinrude 75 HP, electric shift.
The kicker: early 70's 6 horse Johnson.

I steer the kicker using a motor connector rod attached to the steering for the main motor. Works fine, no problem.

For the last few seasons I have contolled the throttle and shift on the kicker by running to the stern and adjusting. I would like to control it from the helm.

Last year I bought a dual lever control box to hook to the kicker... but once I had it.. I couldn't really find a spot to mount it where it would be easy to operate or in the way. As it is not used much I decided against installing it anywhere.

How does everyone else set up kicker controls? Do you use 2 sets of controls, one for the main motor and one for the kicker? If so, how (where)do you mount them? Or is there a better solution?
