Kicker Engine fuel tank relocation

I am looking at putting my kicker fuel tank in the ski locker. I realize that it will need to be vented then. I am planning on adding a blower for this compartment and running a fresh air hose in also. Is this a bad idea or with the vents should this be fine? I am on the fence and am looking for other opinions.

If you meet all of the coast guard regulations for a fuel tank in a closed compartment then it will be fine, this includes using a tank designed for a closed compartment, not a portable tank.

10-4 on not using a portable....a ski locker is a long and thin area, check out these guys, they have tons of sizes available.
