I have a 9.9 mercury 4 stroke long shaft on the back of my 1448 tracker grizzly, the long transom model
. The motor has electric start but not electric tilt. Since I recently had an injury that prevents me from tilting the motor up when I beach the boat or run shallow, I'm looking for an upgrade outboard with electric tilt. Do they make tiller outboards with electric tilt? I notice the Yamaha High thrust series and Mercury Pro Kicker outboards have electric tilt but were designed for use as trolling motors on walleye boats etc. Would they work as a main motor on a boat like mine? I sometimes have two big crewmen (both are in the lower and upper 200lb range) and my current motor doesnt go fast with them riding with me. Would Yamaha high thrust be a good option for moving us around?
