I purchased a 99 johnson and i am using the harness the came with it. It was set with twins on the original boat. I am using only the single
The kill switch has a black with yellow stripe that is not connected to anything. I hooked everything up and I can hear the choke open when I push the key in but when its turned nothing... Battery has full charge and is connected right. The tilt and trim works fine. Does this wire need A positive or nagative feed . The plug is on the top of the kill switch.
James

The black and yellow wire is a Normally Open circuit.
Connects to the ignition switch when you turn the key to off it closes the circuit and kills the engine.
The Kill switch is inserted in the b/y wire
using the NO contact (Most have NO and NC connectors) (the NC are for I/O ignitions).
