On your motor you will need to ground out the coils to stop the motor. Three types of switchs, your prefrence. 1)simple on/off toggle switch 2)A spring loaded switch called a momentry switch which you have to keep depressed until the engine stops 3)Lanyard type switch (found on PWC and snowmobiles) but they come in open or closed circuit versions meaning when you pull the lanyard cap it either opens or closes the circuit. In your case you need the closed circuit version. Installation is as simple as drilling a hole in a suitable location and running wires under the cowl to the coils.
thanks , i notice yesterday on my motor i have a little arm on the side saying Start, Idles, and Stop would that do ok , if not i will install a switch.
