Kind of a dumb qustion

I have a 72 Johnson 100 hp. I had a guy tell me that you can't run this motor
on muffs. Is this true, I thought you could run all outboards on muffs.

they really do not like muffs, yes you can, but make sure they are exactly over the inlet. most small motors you have to barrel to test them.

As Tash stated in not so many words.... be sure that the flushette muffs DO NOT viberate off from the water intake area.

And since I personally have run at least a few hundred of those engines on ear muff type flushettes, I'm inclined to say it's fine to do so.

Ok thank you I thought that maybe I really screwed up my motor.
