My buddy and I had planned for this great fishing trip to lake Sweetwater, I had this hot looking girl as my date, I was trying to impress her with my outdoor skills. We had my fathers boat we launched off and the motor worked for about 5 min. Just long enough to tie on to the dock and move the truck. We all got in the boat (his date was present) I put the boat in drive but the motor would not kick over. It would idle all day long if I let it but when I put it in forward the motor would turn off. My buddy said the heck with it lets just go fishing the trolling motor worked we trolled for about half a mile to my honey hole and they caught a mess of fish. I did not know it a the time but my buddy had not ever fished so, I had to tie on his hook my dates hook and his dates hook and also put a minnow on each hook. The fish were eating the minnows like crazy, and they caught a lot of fish. By mid-afternoon the sun was high and it was getting hot so my friends took off their clothes and decided to get some sun. We had no sun block, we were out in the sun all day long. It just so happend it was a windy day in West Texas, so I not only had to bait all the hooks remove all the fish they caught off the hooks, and put on another minnow but I had to make sure the boat did not run into the shore because of the wind. They had the guts to say I thought you were a great fisherman you have not caught single fish <br /> 
I took their comments in stride and said lets just go home. So, the motor would still not go in drive, we had to troll all the way back to the dock (against the wind) by this time it was late afternoon and my friends looked like tomatoes because of there being out in the sun all day long. My best friend was unable to move because he said his sun burn hurt to much so I had to crank the boat on the trailor by hand because the motor would not start We finally all got in the truck I got my revenge that day because no one except me could sit comortably in the truck except me because I was was not sunburned. I am sure it was long 1.5 hour trip for them. <br />It goes without saying I had to clean the mess of fish since none of my friend had ever cleaned a fish much less catch one. But,I must say It was the best fishing trip I ever took.
