L-drive White reservoir

I just bought a 1990 maxum 120 l-drive. Can anyone tell me what the small white reservoir with a black cap is? I know I have to mix the gas with oil in a 50:1 ratio. What is this small tank for? Hydraulics? Lube Oil?

That tank is for your 2 stroke oil if this is an oil injected motor.

It's the reservoir for your power tilt. I believe it uses brake fluid.
