Re: labor day at the ramp

I would rather be steady and do it right then rush and get someone hurt or something damaged. Makes me wonder if this all-fired rush to get in the water creates a lot of the animosity that people have at the ramp.
My students learn so much better when I patiently show them their errors than when I yell and fuss.
Teach a man to fish and he'll take all you spots; teach a man to unload a boat and you may save a life. (Needs work but you get the gist)

where I live we are allowed 10 min on the ramp max I have had both knees replaced and some times due to rust I take all 10 min thank goodness I have not ran into any 3 min launchers, avery one is patient and waits their turn also 99 percent prep in the proper area.
