Well , just got done with a 16 hr. shift at a local hospital and man did I see some stupid human tricks! The best I can say is that it teaches me NOT what to do on the water.
1) tubing behind a PWC, have friend on another PWC pull along side then stop so the momentum of your tube ride slams you into it. Broke nose, lacerations, hematomas, etc.
2)Trying to keep your boat off the rocks with your hand. Lacerations, broken bones.
3)Stepping in your tackle box barefoot. LOTS of hooks to remove.
4)Holding onto your anchor line, it catches , and pulls your hand into the cleat. Broken fingers.
5)Swinging from rope into water with hand wrapped tightly around it. Broken finger.
6) Water skiing, skis, handle, etc. to the head. Lacerations, concussions.
7)amputated toes due to running motor.
Just a few, sure am glad the holiday weekend is over. Time to go fishing! ;)

OUCH!

I picked a teeny tiny lake to go to this weekend for that very reason.. Under 200 acres and a 10HP limit! I could only use my 70HP to get off/on the trailer, then I just trolled around. Who'd have ever thought it possible to have a safe, peaceful boat outing on Labor Day Weekend??

:)
