hi all.
my inlaws just bought a place in "the villages" near lady lake fla. sort of between orlando and tampa. anyone from down that way? any inland boating spots to reccomend? wit freezing temps here in nh a road trip is somthing nice to think about.

The Harris chain of lakes, if there is enough water. Mount Dora area is nice. Butler Chain is good. The Chain of Lakes in Winter Haven is good for a day of boating, if there is enough water in the canals.

We have a lot of water to play on all year. We were out on the Harris Chain 4 hours yesterday.

My folks live in (around) Mt.Dora it is called lake county for a reason I have been boating once down there it is real nice there are all kind of places to boat you will have a good time
