Lady needs advice.HELP 10MPH WOT NO POWER WONT GET ON PLANE

We have drained the old gas and we and put in new.

We have had to be towed in everytime we have tried the boat. (3x in 3 weeks}

We started the engine 3 x today to make sure it would start for us.
We took it to the lake and it started good at the dock.
The problem is with WOT it will only go 10mph (no power)
We have had it out 3 times and all three times we had the same problem .Sometimes it will slowly gain some speed.It goes so slow it will not get on plane.

Today the boat idled down and shut off and would not restart.
It revs up good in the driveway and at the dock in neutral. When we take off it goes so slow I think I saw some turtles pass us.

boats are tough on the wallet unless you do the work yourself.

Sounds like a case of water in the fuel. Do you have a water seperating fuel filter (Not an OEM item on any 3.0L engine).
IF not, you probably have clogged filters in the fuel pump and carb, along with a carb full of water.
Till you get the water out of the carb, and the filters changed, and a water seperating fuel filter installed and the tank cleaned out, things probably won't get any better.

have you changed anything, like the spark plugs, cap, rotor, filters, water seperator? checked engine timing? scan thru the "ADULTS ONLY" sticky at the top of the forums, there should be alot of helpful info there.
