Well, it looks like the bit of rain we have gotten this year for Allatoona has actually put us OVER the Army Corps projections for this time of the year and several of the ramps are already open. My question is, for those of you on Allatoona that pay for a covered slip, how much are you paying? I'm trying to figure out if I want to make the jump from a covered trailerable storage to a covered slip. I have a 24' deck boat....

My boat used to be in a covered slip at Park Marina, I think for a covered slip for a 24ft you would be looking somewhere around 205mthly or 585qrtly. That's what it was last year anyway. Not sure if the prices have changed, plus if you pay for a year in advance I think there is a bigger discount. With today's rain I think the lake will getting back to normal......I hope it stays this way!! I don't have mine in a slip anymore, I usually put in at the Block house...how about you where you putting in now?

we launched my buddy's new boat out of blockhouse monday and went around for a bit. I drove by galts and it looked fine.

for slips, I was quoted 170 or so (24' boat) by a few of the ones I called. Not bad, but I decided to stay in the storage lot since I can be from my house to on the water, including picking up the boat, in about 30 min.

I've been itching to get out on the water, but they are still calling for freezing temps and I don't want to drain the engine everytime I go out.
