Greetings all,

My husband and I have found this forum after purchasing a 1971-72 19 (not sure yet on the age, there is no hull # on the back and seller thought it was a 72).

Anyway, I've noticed a few of you are in Georgia. The next Antique & Classic Boat Rendezvous for the Blue Ridge chapter is in Hiawassee, GA at Lake Chatuge. Bill (from AristoCraft) said he is expecting to see at least 2 19's at the show. It's probably 2.5 hours from Atlanta and a great way to meet other Classic boat enthusiasts. Also a great way to see other Aristocrafts.

Definately DH and I will be there with another boat scoping out the restorations and picking brains.

Hope to see some of you soon!

That's one of my favorite shows. The weather was beautiful, the cardboard boat race a hoot, and the comraderie the best (as always!). Thank you so much for taking time there to discuss the Nineteens with us. I'm looking forward to some AristoCraft events for 2011. It was sure great to see yours.

Charlotte NC will be the next ACBS - Blue Ridge Chapter show Sept 10 weekend. Then the weekend of Sept 24th the Bluegrass chapter will have a show at Dale Hollow in Burkesville, KY. They say that is quite a beautiful lake.

I'm hoping our Nineteen will be ready for Hartwell next spring. Off to do more digging in the wet foam!
