Lake D'Arbonne, Louisiana - Anybody Been There?

Supposed to go to Lake D'Arbonne in northern Louisiana early next month. Looks like it was formed by damming a creek maybe? Looks like lots of dead trees in it. Is it worth taking my boat with a Bravo 3 outdrive on it? Needs about 3 feet of water. Are there stumps in the lake?
