lake guntersville to chattanooga ?

Anyone trvelled to chattanooga from lake guntersville? how long? how far? hotels and food along the way? Me and my wife are planning on making the trip end of june or first of july, any ideas? I am not familiar with the area at all.

You mean by land correct. I don't have any idea. I live in Gadsden, AL never new much about lake Guntersville though, would like to fish out there some day. Best thing to do is maybe use Randmcnally.com or another map website and see what is available along the way some sites do give hotels and food stop locations, or if you can't find such a deal on a website try finding an up to date road map CD by Randmcnally, I use to have one that showed hotel locations and more.

I know it is an old thread, but did you ever do the trip? Great trip!!! About half way there is some floating cabins you can rent.

Look for the Tennesse River Guide Book by Jerry Hay he and his wife have made this very trip.
