lake lanier fishermen

Being new to Georgia, from Michigan, I would like to know if there are any bass fishermen on this site. I'm not having much luck fishing as most of the water here is really deep with very little structure.
Where do you fish on the lake and what bait do you use?

I have never been there but have watched several fishing shows filmed there and they always catch fish, warm, hot or cold weather, wind blowing, cloudy, rain, front just blew in, I want to say I have watched a couple of tournament shows from there also. I know it probably took a week to make that 30 minute tv show but there are lots of fish there. Some one should be along shortly with some real info.

You want to post this in freshwater fishing, probably get more answers.
