I've heard that Lake McConaughy has great Marinas, beaches and great boating in general 
but I've also heard that the alcohol regulations are strict, the bugs are terrible and there are unmarked sand bars that will eat boat propellers. I'd like to get more information from someone who's been there often.
I'll be going for a week in a small cabin cruiser and need to know some good tips.
