I've read about these props that "shift" to a higher pitch as you speed up and the Land and Sea seems to get great reviews. I am in the market for maybe a 20-22" SS prop (see other prop post from TMH) and I just saw one of these on eBay.
My questions are,
1. If they seller says it came of a Mercury 225 hp engine, would it work on my mercruiser Alpha One - somehow I seem to think mercury and mercruiser are the same hub in that hp range, but I really don't know.
2. Any BAD results with these? I've read lots of good reports, just wondering what the down side can be. Do the springs wear out and then are hard to find replacements for?
Thanks. I'm narrowing down my options and found these very interesting (IF I can get one for a reasonable amount of $$$),
