Just found a Land & Sea torque shift propeller in my father-in-laws shed and trying to figure out what I have and what it might be worth. It has a model number stamped on it #926 and it's approximately 14-7/8" in diameter and has 15 splines which makes me think it's for a Mercury. It also has 5/32 scribed on it in a couple places as well as what looks like someone's S.S. number that was probably used as I.D. if it were stolen. It's in pretty good overall condition but all of the anodizing on the hub the blades are NOT dinged up but do have what looks like some very minor pitting, barely noticeable but worth mentioning and all 3 springs are inside the hub.
I don't know what the pitch range is but thinking someone with knowledge of these might be able to steer me in the right direction by the information I've provided. Send me your thoughts.

Ayuh,..... We covered most of this over at off shore only Lenny,.....
Of the 1/2 dozen I've got, they're worth from free, to 'bout $350. depending on condition,.....
Or atleast, that's what I've paid, from a box of parts, 'n pieces, to a cherry unscratched copy, that looked like it had never been mounted on a drive,....

The 926 is 11" pitch in low gear, 'n top pitch can be adjusted from 'bout 20" to the max of 26",.....
They did make a model that topped out at 32",....

There used to be several cam profiles that helped with the horsepower of the motor, 'n shift timing,.....
There were also 3 different spring rates to also help with shift timing,....

As I mentioned over at OSO, I ran the heaviest springs on my fishin' prop to hold it back from shifting, 'n had to over-trim it to make it up-shift,....
