Larson 19 foot LXI Speed issue

I have a 2003 19ft Larson with a Volvo Engine. I think it is the 4.3. Last time out the RPM's would run up to 4000 but the boat was not moving very fast. Normally I get about 25 MPH at 3000 RPM. The other day I couldn't get above 10 MPH at 4000 RPM. What should I look at as a potential problem?

I would check the prop first. You might have spun it.

Thanks for the response and pardon my ignorance but what do you mean by a spun prop and how do I check for it?
