Larson all American Rack & pinion steering

I have a problem with my steering, the cable came apart. Now I need to find a used/new one. It's a thru transom style, And the red cover came apart right where it crimps at back of the boat.


This has been in the family for years, belonged to my grampa. Other then the steering, the rest of the boat is pristene.

Please help

what year is the boat? I just got a ALL American last Nov. am in the process of getting it ready. I am wondering what the original seats looked like? Thanks
