Larson Escape 204 O/B Owners

I am looking for some first hand experience w/ the Escape 204 O/B boat.

-Are you happy with it? Quality, Durability, etc.?
-How does it handle small chop (1 - 2' wakes)
-What motor are you running, and what is your top end?
-Does the bow rise much prior to planning out?
-Do you have the hydrallic steering option? Thoughts?

Anything else? We are a family of 5 w/ an extra kid or two with us much of the time. We like to fish, ski, tube, etc.

We traded in a 1999 Viper Coral f/s for a left over 2006 204 Escape. THIS is the best boat we could have picked !!!!

PLENTY of room, handles great, rides smooth, quick to plane, very little rise prior to plane, we have power steering, 5.0 Merc carburated, quality is top notch, pulls well, nice manuverability, top end of 53 mph, handles 1'-2' chops well, can't say enough good about this boat, or my dealer !!!!!!!!!

ONLY downside to it, is where to store the ski's. Floor locker will NOT accept the ski's.

Woops, you were asking about a out board. Sorry !!!!!! Boat is the same though.
