Larson Hampton 23' Cuddy Cabin

I have a 1998 Larson Hampton 23' Cuddy Cabin and for some reason I am getting water in the front storage compartment in the cuddy cabin. Anyone have any ideas where it would be coming from? The anchor compartment is right in front of it however it has a drain and I don' t see any holes in it.

Any suggestions?

I have a 1990 Larson Hampton 220. Mine does the same thing. I remember seeing a thread on here where some one stated that it comes in through the vent and travels along the ceiling before dripping down, you guessed it, right over the anchor compartment. I havnt witnessed this action myself but it does make sense.

It could also be comeing from your hatch( assuming you have one).

I would think your storage compartment would have to have some way to drain if it's in the deck.

Did either of you figure this out? I am about to purchase a 1990 Larson 220 and noticed about 3 inches of water in same (front) cuddy compartment...
