New to boats. but restoring this one. and maybe take a whack at my grandpas old boat. the transom is shot. and not sure if the engine works or anything else for that matter(on the grandpas boat that is)

what do you think? and any constructive criticism will help.. thanks

Looks just like my project. What year is your boat. Mine's a 69 Larson and I'm currently replacing the floor and transom. What method are you going to use for the transom repair?

its an 86 Larson Senza V-175BR.. my dad had a guy come out to look at it and tell me whats wrong and what to do with it.. he said the transom is in really good shape.....

but the other boat i was told needs a whole new transom.. which at one point ill need your guys expert advice on.. im gunna try and find out what that boat is soon.

alright heres some pics. have updated this for a long time tho so theres a bunch

the guy said we could do it this way . its easier and itll still be glassed in and everything..
3/4" ac plywood.. now i saw some guy do the blue foam is that better to use than the 2part marine foam . or are they the same
