owned for 12 years perfect.had it refinished, only miner chips on leading edge.new hub.now it does not even get me on the plane.had it checked by the repairer and they are baffled by the problem.alfa 1/mercruisre v6/searay 18 ft.

Maybe it's the engine, and not the prop. What are the symptoms?

engine perfect just serviced.alloy prop works fine same pitch 21".prop just seems to cavitate

Make a continious mark across the hub and prop with something that wont wash off and try to run it again if the hub is acting up the marks will not line up.

the hub is new this is not the problem.

Just because the hub is new, dont mean it is not the problem, they take alot of pressure to press in and could have cracked your prop or even put the wrong one in, mistakes do happen, and I am only trying to find your most logical, least expensive and simplest solution to your problem.<br />Since you say it runs good with the other prop.

my new hub is not the older style press in type.it is the newer type with a removable splined insert.these are much easier to replace.<br />thanx for your help.
