Last question about AQ125A circulating pump

I have been told by NAPA that they send pumps to a rebuilder in Portland Oregon and that they can rebuild the recirculating pump (antifreeze) for the Volvo Penta AQ125A for about $60. Since a new one costs around $250 plus shipping, is there any reason that this wouldn't work?

Sounds like the way to go.If it were for a mercruiser where the new one is only about $100,thats a different story.Charlie
