Late 70s MerController

Hi I took apart an old MerController because I was having problems with the throttle. All the wiring insulation inside the case is starting to disintegrate leaving bare wires. What's the best way to re-wire it? It's a 6 pin harness to the motor. I found the wiring diagram from 2006.
