Latest Tohatsu TLDI MD90C2...what's new?

Hello, I noticed on the Tohatsu website that the 90 TLDI looks updated recently. It has a more rounded appearance, weighs about 20lbs more, and is 3 star emissions compliant vs 2 stars on the 90B. And the fuel consumption chart on the website lists the 90C2 at 7.1gph (5500rpm) vs 8.5gph for the 90B (also 5500rpm.) So I assume the differences are way more than cosmetic. Could anybody elaborate on the updates that Tohatsu made going from the 90B to the 90C2? Thanks.

I think the air pressure was upped on the injection system, so the rest of the injection system had to be changed as well.
