LCD guage replacement

2001 115 4 Stroke. LCD speedometer and fuel guage do not work. I looked to replace that guage and WOW that is an expensive guage. To replace with analog guages, how difficult is it? Not too worried about speed since I have a GPS, but how difficult is the fuel guage to replace? How is it done?
