I have not, however........
Can you downgrade/revert 100% back to the old if the "update" sucks/has bugs?
If not and there nothing in the "upgrade/update" you absolutely can't live without....If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Sometimes new engineers with flash memory products just have to make a name for themselves and just can't stop until they break it for you. Every freaking day there's a update with some of these manu's.
Geeesh, the day is coming when my toaster will be required to go online to register itself to power up, then come the "updates" else we shut it off!!! (insert evil sinister laugh).........Don't laugh, we as consumers are allowing it.
Designed in obsolesces?
Some code/updates even goes as far as it's designed to need to be updated (time out) as time/use moves forward. Makes more $ense for manu's (less then honest? lol) to continue to have control of your(their) product/s, they then can tweek/break/slow it/bug it up just a tiny bit here and there and at some point and in time subtly AND suddenly it doesn't work so good, they bet/bank on if you buy again and again...........

I write my code that way........hehehe J/K!! But, I could and have, easily done these days.
