Re: leaded gasoline
Sirs,

Related to this question, here in Venezuela we can find both types of gasoline.
Leaded 91 octanes and Unleaded 95 octanes.
In my case, i have been used both to my 1990 3.4L Mariner and found good.
But I prefer to use the 91 leaded because lubrication properties gas...
Leaded gas has special additives like "tetraetilo de plomo" (sorry for language), component which contain lubrication properties.
What is your opinion about leaded & octanes for my engine? Also I eliminate the VRO and I´m using premix, ratio 40:1.(little smoke but my engine has more than 400 operation hours).
Thanks for your attention in matter.
Regards

Carlos Schemel
Venezuela
