Re: leaf springs

My question is "why".

But to answer yours:
1) measure eye-to-eye
2) Count the number of leafs
3) Measure the leaf width
4) you find them at Ranger Boats, Northern Tool, or as close as your nearest trailer repair shop. And quite possibly right here on iBoats.

They are old and I think they are sagging. Somthing is going on. Not sure what but I can not seem to find a tire that dose not rub on the inner sidewall againt the fender. Very very slight but it dose rub under turning, bumps in the road or somthing. The space is very tight. les than 1 inch.
Yes it make little sence to me that the springs would cause the condition.
The retainers or clamps that hold the leafs together have also moved inches. you can see marks in the springs where they use to sit. or maybe they fell off?? Not really sure. but you can see where they once were.
