leak around rivets

friend of mine inherited an aluminium boat/dingy, and it has some small leaks around the rivets along the bottom seam. how would one repair this, is thwere some "paint on" sealer???

A product called Gluvit. Search this forum for Gluvit and you will find a plethoria of information.

If it is the actual rivets leaking then I would re-buck or replace them before the gluvit.

Well.....yes but, it adhere's best directly to aluminum and if it is in a place where sunlight will get to it....it must be painted over. There are no UV inhibitor's in Gluvit.

i agree bout re bucking them, problem is a couple are on the seam covered by the seat bench. i think hell do the ones he can get to without tearing anything apart, and coat the rest he cant get to.
