Please define what "couchen" means. Do you mean cushion?

I also have a Larson with unexplained leaking.............

Re: leak in my larson 274

I've not as yet found where the leak is exactly. I know it's leaking only when it rains. I find it's wet under the bow cushions, and under the dinette. I think it's coming in around either the windshield, or the deck hatch.
I'm planning on having someone hold a hose at various places and hopefully it will lead me to the leak.

You didn't say if the boat was in the water or on the ground. On the ground I found that if the bow of the boat is not raised high enough water can get in from anywhere and will end up in the bow. Make sure the plug is out and raise the front as high as possible, if you see water run out then you know that's the case. You probably still have a leak somewhere but at least now the water will drain out.

Hi, I know this is a old post but I have just joined the site. I had the samwe problem with my 2000 SEI.
Check the anchor hatch for a plugged drain. Two holes on outside with chome cover plates. Simply push but bendable piece of electric wire up inside the chrome. You will feel the holes going into the anchor compartment. Stand back or get wet once the wire pushes the blockage clear.
