leak test cant stop leal

I have a 77 140 hp mr1 series ourtdrive.I have the lower end off and i have relaced the prop seal the shifter shaft seal and put on a new water pump kit.When I pressure test lower end it leaks air somewhere the water pump shaft area.I have put all new gaskets.I just wonder if the seal on the new water pump is leaking.The shaft it rides on looks good.I am getting water in the oil just running the muffs. thaks philr

If it's leaking during the pressure test, then get a spay bottle with some water and a little bit of dish washing liquid in it and spray EVERYWHERE. The bubbles will tell the story.
In case you haven't already, drain all the oil before doing the pressure test.

The shift shaft seal. Use a little permetex on that one. It pops out.
