Inside of gimbal housing at the very bottom there is a steady stream coming out and straight into bilge. It is in the water now and notice that when the boat rocks from wakes it flows out much quicker.

It is enough to fill the back end of the boat in about a day.

I figure have to pull boat out and pull off drive, just looking to bounce it off people here.

Thanks

Yes. After you pull it out, check the drive bellows. (The big one on top)
If this is a recent issue you may save the u-joints and gimbal bearing. But you will most likely need to replace them too.

Also check the shift cable boot, Other causes may be corroded hole in exaust pipe, exaust Y pipe seal leaking, loose bolts,

Re: Leaking down into bilge

Well I pulled the drive off and got some water with it. The exhaust bellow looked ok when i pulled as did the shift bellow. The U joint bellow though had a hole in it about a inch wide. Also the large round rubber seal I pulled off from the U joint area was cut up as well.

So all new bellows and a gasket kit. Was wondering since i have shift cable pulled If should just get a new one of those even though the old one seems to be ok.
