Hello. I have a 1974 Ranger fiberglass boat and I started noticing the boat had a slow leak in the floor. The carpet in the lower floor would be mostly wet at the end of an outing. Turns out it was coming from the livewell located in the front deck. I know fiberglassing it would be the correct way to fix it but I'm not sure exactly where the crack is. It's hard to tell inside the livewell because there's several places that could be causing it (mostly stress cracks)...and it's hard to tell with the outside wall covered with carpet. So...how stupid would it be to get a can of clear flex seal and spray the whole inside of the livewell (after it's nice and dried out of course). Anyone here used flex seal? How did it work for you? Your respectful input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
