LEAKING FUEL FILL HOSE

The hose between my fill cap, and the gas tank is leaking. I have tried to remove the old one, but cannot get it off. Its really hard to get to, thought I could just cut it, but it has some kind of spiral metal wire inside it. Took the screws out of the fill cap, thinking I would just be able to pull it out, but it will not budge. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get this thing off?

bassin,

Have you disconnected it at both ends?

Those hoses are usually double clamped at both ends. The tank end may be easier to get to. If the tank is in the floor, it should have a plate over it.

Yes I removed all of the clamps on both ends, the hose less than 12 inches long.
